Warm from the Cold

Siobhán an Einigh of Connacht

Warm Warm from the cold now
Warm warm from the cold
Safe from the storm
With those who I yearn for
Warm warm from the cold.

Waiting by the fire in the cold now
I sing for the day
Waiting for the fire
To see my kin
Lone notes, fall close
Held warm warm from the cold.

C

Seeking for the fire in the cold now
I stride toward the day
Seeking for the fire
That warms my kin
Fear falls as hope calls me
Warm warm from the cold.

C

Singing round the fire at the cold now
Rejoice in the day
Singing round the fire
With all my kin
Song swells as joy bells
All warm warm from the cold

C
