Patterning
I am the stars in all their brightness, I am the horse that roams the plain, I am the air in all its lightness, I am the clouds that bring the rain. I am the tallest snow-capped mountain, I am the forest's reaching trees, I am the rippling bubbling fountain, I am the hawk that rides the breeze. I am the shore that knows the ocean, I am the wave white-flecked with foam, I am the wind in ceaseless motion, I am the pilgrim far from home. I am the seasons' endless turning, I am the right against the wrong, I am the flame in gladness burning, I am the voice upraised in song. I am the dawn in all its glory, I am the speech of wisdom's art, I am the telling of the story, I am the dream within my heart. |
