Burn Fire Burn

Hilla Stormbringer

Fire Within

Chorus:
Burn, burn, fire burn.
Winds blow; 'round the seasons turn.
Sing the spark that never dies
And light the fire within.

Like the grey-winged seagull
Searching for the shore,
Long way I have wandered,
And I journey more.
Ever seeking knowledge,
Seeking wisdom's part,
Alone yet never lonely,
Fire warms my heart.

Chorus

Embers unattended
Spark the roaring blaze
That fills the silent forest
With its smoky haze.
But the fire when tempered
Is beauty to behold;
Flames that dance and flicker
Shaping precious gold.

Chorus

Fire on the water,
At the breaking dawn.
Flame to light the candles
When the day is gone.
In the cold of winter,
In the storm and rain,
Lantern in the window
Leads me home again.

Chorus

When the hearth seems barren,
Filled with ashes grey,
There is still an ember
Never burned away.
When the need is greatest,
In the black of night,
When the hour is darkest,
Fire shines most bright.

Chorus
