Judy took me to her lovely house, where she lived all by herself. Garden and swing, birds there to sing, and tulips imported from Delft, Yellow brick road to Grandma's, hey, Mister, don't go that way! She screamed and held me back, imploring me to stay. Dinner with tea, then story-time, 'til time to send Judy to sleep. And as she slumbered happily, I heard a rustling creep, I saw a silent, shimmering figure, tidying up from our day, And now that I knew of her presence, I could no longer stay! How Judy cried to see me go, when I told her I had to depart. I dared not kiss her goodbye, poor lass, though like to broke my heart, Walking away into voidless form, thus ended what I had dreamed, Told of it casually to a friend, found it wasn't the trifle it seemed. A family of three to Grandma's once fared, 'til a drunk their vehicle broke. The wife was killed, the husband deformed, from coma the girl never woke. My dream described the Judy that was, in perfect detail and scope, She's been in her coma for nineteen years, perhaps there still is hope.
