Atlantis ruled all seven seas
From beyond the pillars of Hercules Plato wrote of how their glory shone In ancient times, already long gone… They live in myth and stories now, Who dared defy the gods! Once scattered to a thousand shores, Atlantis’ lost children gather now once more Chorus Atlantia, Atlantia! Dare we be heirs to Utopia? The lost city, risen again To rule the waves and sky? Be you daughters of warriors And sons of seafarers? Brick by brick, let ‘em witness what we build! Atlantis sunk beneath the waves Its treasures washed up in distant caves Its pearls were found upon the beach ‘Cross centuries we felt their reach… So there’s another kingdom now, Risen up beside the sea! Claim the legacy of seafoam thrones, Unearth glory again from salt and stones! (CHORUS) Atlantis had a coral crown, Set with opals, held in high renown We thought it lost in ocean’s deep Forevermore unseen to sleep… But dolphins rallied to our cause, Unafraid of dark and cold! They dive down to drowned ruins and bring Back to us the nautilus of which we sing (CHORUS) Sea dragons guard our azure gates Sea stags work to rewrite our fates The silver osprey scouts on high Where defiantly our banners fly… So challenge not Atlantia For the ocean heeds our call! And the Kraken itself joins our raids Like shark’s teeth our shieldwall bears a thousand blades (CHORUS) Even grander than this history, Our hands build new stars of the sea Drink deep from fountains of our skill Our catch of herring, eat your fill… And if the waves should take us too We know we’ll rise again! For the sea-tyger and arielle, Alcyon and hippocampus sail on still! (CHORUS) Atlantia, Atlantia! Dare we be heirs to Utopia? The lost city, risen again To rule the waves and sky? Be you daughters of warriors And sons of seafarers? So brick by brick, let ‘em witness! Year by year, let ‘em witness! War by war, let ‘em witness! Dream by dream… let ‘em witness what we build! |
