Well I used to like movies with pirates, or knights,
And period dramas held out such delights I had money for comics, thought LARPers were fun, I played Skyrim as soundtrack when errands I'd run But I'm S-C-A now, S-C-A evermore, And I'm doomed to go camping Each weekend, and more With a Duke and a Laurel, I sat playing chess, When I looked at my garb, I felt such a mess For my sandals belonged in the fifth century, but my tunic was spangled with fleur-de-lis But I'm S-C-A now... A Pelican wrapped me in woolens so thick, as I roasted some spam that was stuck on a stick. "I know that economy is each newbies desire, But a acrylic and nylon don't mix with a fire!" But I'm S-C-A now... A friend had a wedding, I was delighted indeed A carry-on suitcase held all I might need But next week I promised to host the Yule Ball, and a U-haul was needed to carry it all But I'm S-C-A now... I returned to the Comic-con, to recruit some more troops, But I fear, O mine Chatelaine, I made quite the Oops. I know it's not sexy, but breastplates are flat, but perhaps I should not have been telling them that But I'm S-C-A now... Well the fabric-store told me, my coupons were nought, and I owed them full price on the linen I'd bought I tried to use credit, they told me it bounced, So I sold off some plasma, my blouse must be flounced! |
