Have a Drink with Me

Ríoghnach Locha Eachach

Challenge me, I dare you
To drink me under the table
Just give me the chance
I may look small, but I assure
Upon your passed-out body, I'll dance

One, two, three!
Have a drink with me!
One, two, three!
Have a drink with me!

You will look at me and grin
On seeing my stature so short
But you must look within
A liver of steel I inherited
And I must honor my stout-hearted kin

Four, five, six!
Let the liquors mix!
Four, five, six!
Let the liquors mix!

Come at me, ye patrons
Take your strongest whiskey to hand
I'll do what I must
I'll close my eyes and maybe my nose
But down the hatch, I swear, it will rush

Seven, eight, nine!
And another time!
Seven, eight, nine!
And another time!

Don't staunch the liquors' flow
I swear, I'm standing up yet
Call another round
I will not yield until the field
Starts replacing upwards with down

Ten, eleven, twelve!
Oh, hell

I pray my boast was heard
By Dionysus himself
For this may be my last
One more drink and I will sink
But of this self-made test, I passed!
