Scroll Text: Laurel for Brendan O Corraidhe

Cerian Cantwr

YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAW!!!!!!!!
We're gathered 'cause this here Shadowlands boy has gone and
duuuuuun gooood!!!

To translate from the ancient Ansteorran...

Brendan, I would speak of you.
In Shadowlands was your debut,
Then on Griffin's wings you flew -
Singing all the way.
Then you paused and found a wife
Focused on a father's life
With children your time was rife
Family filled the day.

But once again you heard the call,
Dictation of the muse to scrawl,
To strum chord and play the hall -
To our fires you returned.
Now Seto King and Ynes Queen
upon electrons all unseen
Anoint you with a laurel's sheen -
This honor you have earned.

For skill with wit and word and phrase,
Tunes to delight, tales to amaze,
Great deeds to note and worthies praise -
An ollave's work to do.
So I say, Brendan O Corraidhe,
This father's, husband's, mad uncle's story.
Today's your day for praise and glory.
The journey starts anew.

Go n-éirí an bóthar leat
Go mbeadh an ghaoth i gcónaí ar do chúl.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.

Done this 30th day of April, AS 54 while sitting on
Our thrones in the ethereal realm.
