Fist Bump the Queen

Cerian Cantwr

v1:
Come forth noble fighter, you're weary I know -
The foeman has slain you, their sword laid you low.
But standing there proudly, her fist raised on high,
Our warrior Queen, your death to deny.

Chorus:
Fist bump the Queen and return to the fray.
Her Majesty's blessing upon you this day.
You'll rise from the dead, down in the ravine.
The battle is calling. Go fight for your Queen!

v2:
The line surges forward, then back through the fight -
While flags first flip one way, then yield to our might.
One island of calm by the melee's fierce swirl,
Our own Sovereign res point, her banner unfurled.

v3:
That hill may get taller with each trip you take -
From res point to foemen, your bones start to ache.
Behind you our Monarch stands strong, proud and keen.
Our own living standard, the Dragon's fierce Queen.

Dedicated to the ladies who inspired this piece,
