Many of the challenges throughout the day will have a patron. The job of a patron is to
acknowledge each performer in their challenge, by giving them some token of thanks for their
participation. These tokens can be pretty much anything; a card, a favor, or even
chocolate brownies. Anyone who thinks they might like to sponsor a challenge, please contact
the patron coordinator, Amelie d'Anjou.
We currently have had a number of people volunteer to sponsonsor some of the day's challenges.
Thank you one and all. We still have openings for some more. I'm not certain of the exact
number currently, but I believe we're somewhere around the half-way point. So if you're
interested in becoming a patron, please contact Mistress Amelie.
You do not have to be one of the challenge patrons in order to say thank you like this. If
you find one of the performances at Bardc Madness South (or indeed any other event) to be
paticularly moving or meaningful, feel free to thank the performer - either by
giving them a token or simply saying "thank you."
