N ow, in this festive season of the year
O ld turns to new, the sun and Son reborn
E ach heart top-filled with charity and cheer
L ove rules as these two greet their wedding morn
L et merriment and joy attend the bride
E nraptured let her come to meet her groom
E xultant let him stand there at her side
T o vow his love forevermore will bloom
A s days go by and seasons pass away
L et these sweet vows be each day born anew
A nd charity guide all they hear and say
R uled o'er by love in everything they do
I n joy may these two henceforth live one life
C ontented husband and contented wife
