The Pelican Beak Carol

Lyrics: Master John Inchingham
Music: The Boar's Head Carol

Chorus:
A pelican in its piety
Is the oddest bird you’ll ever see.
Verses:
When service is needed now,
The cry goes out for waterfowl.
No job’s too big nor mess too deep
For brainless birds with bottomless beaks!

The worst chores, like fish heads, throw
To feathered nerds who can’t say “No.”
Our throats are choked. We cannot eat.
Please feed us more, ‘cause work’s a treat!

So toss us your toughest jobs.
We don’t get even—we get odd.
Proudly, we open our beaks
For more fish heads. We’re ubergeeks!
