Good King Felix

Lyrics: Rutger van Groningen
            & Charles of Whithorse
Music: Gallent Murray
            by Andy M Stewart

Who will ride with good King Felix?
Who will ride to Pennsic War?
He's the flower of the Midrealm -
Guardian of the meek and poor -
See the sun shine on his armor -
Leads the Dragon to the fray -
His good sword he now has drawn it,
And has flung the sheath away!

Every faithful knight does follow
First of heroes, best of men
Every true and trusty Squire
Takes up sword and spear again
Pull now forth the great siege engines
Shoulder shields to make the wall
When we come to Aethelmarc
[Then] we will meet the Tiger's claw!

Rally with our Midlands brothers
Constellation is nae slack
Pentamere has ta'en the field
With all the Oakens at their back
Let us ride with Good King Felix
Let us march for Midrealm's Crown
From the fight we'll never falter
Till we bring the Tiger down!

Bend the bow and point the rapier
Hasten all, to armor gird
Brace the pike and face the danger
When the Dragon's call is heard
Bear us water, oh my sisters,
Succor us upon the field
Through the heat and dust of battle
Never will the Midrealm yield!
