Drinking Vessels

Lyrics: Lorelei Skye
Music: All Around My Hat

All around my skirt, I will wear others vessels
And all around my skirt, 'Til the end of the day
And if anyone should ask me, the reason I am wearing them
It's all for my household who left me this way!

The first I was handed came to me from my Master John
He had to go and fight- before they cried "lay on"
So I, being helpful, offered to hold to his mug
And was also handed Maire's for keeping track of

Cerian left me holding a nice wooden tankard
He went to go and sing- for the Royal Midrealm Guard
Alexander, with book and staff, no hands left for his flagon
Dropped it with me, and went to serve the Dragon

Olaf found me later that same event morn-in'
And passed for me to hold, a fine carved drinking horn
Not to be left out Dahrien he soon followed them
Left a pewter goblet with a hand casted stem

So I hit the merchants to add more loopies to my belt
I wanted to free my hands before my wrists did melt
That's how I got left holding off of their drinking mugs
Tonight I'll hand them off to Phillipe and Torqual to lug!

All around my skirt I will wear others vessels
And all around my skirt, 'til the end of the day
And if anyone should ask me, the reason I am wearing them
It's all for my household - who left me this way!
